2015 has been busy! Phill and I are moving on Friday, which is incredibly exciting but at the same time incredibly stressful. It will be just be me and him, living in our own one bedroom apartment - a one bedroom apartment with a washer and dryer inside the unit! YAY!
Running is going pretty well. I managed 23.3 miles last week with little trouble or pain. Yesterday I ran 7 hilly miles. The long hill was incredibly difficult because I am carrying more weight these days, but I kept reminding myself that it will just make me stronger once the weight comes off.
Phill and I signed ourselves up for a 5K in Napa at the beginning of March. My goal is to have fun and carry no expectations.
2015 Blog-worthy Goals:
- Read 5 books (I am sure to exceed this goal this year, since I no longer have a car and I am using CalTrain for transit!)
- So far, I've read (both great reads):
- Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of World, Haruki Murakami
- An Irish Country Doctor, Patrick Taylor
- Currently Reading:
- The Social Conquest of Earth, E.O. Wilson
- Run 30 miles per week average by December 2015
